The Wattex EDS (Extreme Dimensional Stability) range of nonwovens features a unique property : the base consists of a blend of glass- and PET fibres, proportionally adjustable to obtain the desired level of fire-resistance.
In the same manufacturing process, reinforcing HT BCF PET filaments and/or glassfilaments are applied in machine and/or cross direction. This improves both tensile strength and dimensional stability.
As this matrix is indivisible (and not a sandwich-construction), there is no risk for delamination.
